Accident with two aircrafts at Copenhagen Airport

As an aircraft, a BAE AVRO146RJ (SE-DST), was parking at Copenhagen airport another aircraft, an Airbus A340 (OY-KBC), was towed to pass behind. When passing, the winglet of the A340 collided with the tail section of the parking aircraft. There were no injuries to personnel, crew or passengers but both the aircraft had to be taken out of service for repairs.

Accident Investigation Board Denmark is investigating the occurrence.

SHK has appointed an accredited representative to assist the investigation.
