Serious incident a Swedish registered aircraft in Tallinn, Estonia

The aeroplane took off from Rapala airfield in Estonia on July 15th 2017 and was heading for Norrtälje Airport in Sweden. After 15 minutes flight the captain heard a bang and saw right hand engine parameters dropping. The crew performed emergency procedures and declared “emergency”. A clearance was received for emergency landing at Tallinn Airport and the aeroplane landed without problems. None of the passengers or flight crew was injured.

Estonian SIB is investigating the incident. SHK has appointed an accredited representative to the Estonian investigation.
