Serious incident with an aircraft during landing in Åbo/Turku, Finland

Investigated by Finland.

A bombardier CRJ-900LR aircraft, with registration EI-FPD, operated by Cityjet, started from Stockholm-Arlanda airport and landed in Åbo/Turku, Finland. At the landing, the aircraft veered and slid laterally. It collided with some of the runway lights. The tires of the aircraft were damaged. There were 92 persons on board. No persons were injured.

The Finnish Safety Investigation Authority investigates the occurrence as a serious incident. Since the flight was performed on behalf of SAS, SHK has appointed an accredited representative to assist the investigation.
