Accident involving a Cessna Citation 560XL in connection with approach to Farnborough Airport November 29, 2015

Approaching Farnborough , England, the flight crew of the Swedish registered aircraft SE- RHJ Cessna Citation 560XL perceived a blow with subsequent vibrations to the aircraft. The approach continued with reduced speed and a normal landing could be performed. Upon inspection of the aircraft it was found that parts of the right engine upper cowling was missing and that there was some damage to the plane's tail section.

The incident is being investigated by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch ( AAIB ) in the UK.
