Accident with the hot air balloon SE-ZIX east of Vadstena

During a balloon flight with twelve people on board, the speed above the ground became higher than intended and several landing attempts were made.

During the first landing attempt, the balloon made a hard contact with the ground, resulting in one passenger breaking their arm, which in this context is considered a serious injury. After the impact, a go-around was performed.

During the final landing, there was again a hard contact with the ground and the basket bounced a few times before being dragged for a distance and finally came to rest in a deep ditch.
