Serious incident at Trondheim Airport Værnes

An Airbus A320 aircraft was en route from Oslo to Tromsø. The aircraft was operated by SAS and had the registration SE-RUO. During the flight, smoke was detected in the cabin, which was found to be coming from a passenger's hand luggage, which contained a mobile phone, batteries, a power bank and a computer. An overheated battery had burned a hole in the bag and caused burns on the carpet. The devices were taken care of and put in water. The crew decided to declare mayday and landed at Trondheim Airport. No injuries were reported.
