Accident involving glider SE-UOI, type DG-400, at Falköping airport on 20 July 2026

At the initiation of a winch launch, the right wingtip struck the grass, causing the glider to yaw to the right.
It then climbed uncontrollably to approximately 10 metres, after which the nose dropped and the glider struck the ground nose-first.
The pilot sustained minor injuries, but the glider sustained extensive damage.
