Accident with the ro-ro-vessel MS Stora Korsnäs Link, 10 nautical miles East of Teesport, England

10 nautical miles east of Teesport, England a fire started in the engine room of the ro-ro-vessel MS Stora Korsnäs Link, while sailing from Gävle to Hartlepool. The fire was later spread to the cargo. Since the vessel was carrying dangerous cargo she was not permitted to enter port. The crew members were evacuated by helicopter.
