Göte II – grounding in Gothenburg archipelago

The fireboat Göte II was on its way to Styrsö. During a yaw, the crew lost control of the vessel, leading to a collision with an islet in the north-eastern part of the Korshamn Sea Channel. One person was seriously injured and the vessel sustained considerable damage from the collision.
