CORALIUS – Workplace Accident
The accident is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Maritime Casualty Investigation (BSU)

A container with corrosive chemicals came under high pressure and exploded. A crew member on the vessel was splashed with the liquid and suffered serious injuries. The crew member was sent ashore and to hospital. The accident is being investigated by Germany. SHK follows the investigation in the role of Flag State.
