Accident with a JAS military fighter aircraft in Hungary

An accident involving a Hungarian-registered JAS 39 Gripen occurred near Szolnok, Hungary, on 24 August 2026. The pilot was injured in the accident. The aircraft sustained extensive damage. The occurrence is being investigated by the Hungarian authorities.
