Serious incident with a BAE ATP aircraft at Isle of Man's airport, UK

The British Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) is investigating a serious incident involving a Swedish-registered aircraft, SE-LPS, of the model BAE ATP. During the approach to Isle of Man, the autopilot could not be disconnected in the normal way. However, the autopilot could be disengaged by holding down a button, designed to temporarily disengage the autopilot, during the rest of the flight. The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority has appointed an accredited representative to assist the AAIB.

The report also covers SHK's case L-91/21.
