Accident with an aircraft of the model Saab 2000 at Unalaska airport, Alaska, USA

An aircraft of the model Saab 2000 overran runway 13 on landing, with 38 passengers and three crewmembers on board. The airplane came to rest past the runway overrun area with it's nose almost in the sea. One passenger was killed, two passengers sustained serious injuries and five minor injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), USA. SHK has appointed Mr Gideon Singer as accredited representative.
