Incident with an aircraft of the type British Aerospace BAe ATP on descent into East Midlands Airport in United Kingdom

During approach to East Midlands Airport the crew were unable to disconnect the autopilot on the aircraft (registration SE-MHF). It was decided to perform a Go around. After successful disconnect of the autopilot an uneventful landing was made.

The incident is being investigated by the investigation authority of the United Kingdom. SHK has appointed an accredited representative to the UK investigation.
