Serious incident to an aircraft of type SAAB 340A at the airport El Plumerillo, Mendoza, Argentina

Taxiing with an aircraft from Sol Airlines (registration LV BMD) was initiated with the hydraulic pump turned off. After a short taxi the hydraulic pressure was so low that the aircraft brakes and steering no longer worked.

The aircraft veered off the taxiway and received minor damage. No person was injured during the incident.

The incident has been investigated by the investigating authority in Argentina where SHK is represented by an accredited representative.
