THE SWEDISH COAST GUARD VESSEL KBV 202 – Collision with the Passenger Vessel M/S ECKERÖ in Grisslehamn, Stockholm County.

KBV 202 had recently undergone a major upgrade. During engine start-up in connection with preparations for departure, the vessel began to move unintentionally. As a result, the vessel first reversed and then accelerated forward, colliding with both M/S ECKERÖ and the quay. No serious injuries occurred, but both vessels sustained material damage.
