Serious incident between one JAS 39 and one F 16 on approach to Kallax

A JAS 39 and a F16 flew in two-ship formation with own radar separation approaching Kallax Airport. During the flight, which took place in cloud, the distance between the airplanes was reduced and the JAS 39 came to pass the F 16 at a distance of about 30 m.

SHK has classified the occurrence as a serious incident.
