Incident with an aircraft of the type CRJ 900 in Gällivare

An aircraft operated by Regional Jet would take off from Gällivare Airport. The aircraft was taxied to the runway. As the crew increased engine power and released the brakes, the plane veered to the left. The crew's attempts to correct the course were fruitless. The crew applied the brakes and aborted the start. When the plane stopped, the nose wheel was about two metres outside the runway.
