Fire on the tug ZEUS

Investigation led by: Poland

The 23 September 2015 a fire broke out on the Polish tug ZEUS in the port of Sölvesborg, Sweden. The tug had a crew consisting of seven persons, whereof four were killed in the fire. The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority (Statens haverikommission – SHK) has decided to investigate the accident and has agreed with the corresponding Polish authority, State Commission on Maritime Accident Investigation, that the Polish authority will lead the investigation.
