Collision between a freight train and a truck loaded with timber on a rail crossing in Hökmora

A truck loaded with timber got stuck on a rail crossing and got hit by a freight train. The truck was severely damaged but no person was in the truck at the time of the collision. The driver of the train threw himself out of the drivers box just before the collision, but was injured and needed to be taken to hospital. The locomotive derailed and was parted from the rest of train and suffered extensive damage. A number of trolleys derailed, but remained on the side of the track.
