Rail accident during shunting operation in Sundsvall

A freight train arrived to Sundsvall and was to be shunted to the combined terminal. The driver was in the locomotive at the rear of the shunting set. On the first wagon, about 500 meters away, stood a shunter that kept an eye on the direction of travel and communicated with the driver via mobile phone. For some reason, the shunter fell off the wagon, was hit by it and killed.
