German media report that Russia allegedly has deployed military equipment on and around the wreck of the MV ESTONIA.
The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority, together with its Estonian counterpart, has examined the seabed conditions around the site in 2021, photographed the wreck in 2022 and photographed inside the car deck in 2023. During these surveys, no signs of military activity have been seen in the vicinity.
